Aids and the occurring battle against it
This article is about Aids and the battle that is being fought against it every day around the world. Many scientists around the world are trying to find new ways to fight HIV. As most people know, Aids lowers a person immune systems capability to fight off infections, viruses, diseases, and even the common cold. This can cause serious problems, and many people have died to this lack in the strength of their immune system. This is why scientists around the world are searching for ways to help rid people of Aids. This is the case in a University Medical Center, where a research team has discovered a vaccine that drastically strengthens the body’s immune system against the autoimmune of HIV infection. This could greatly affect the treatment of Aids patients.
Although it is known that a large mix of medications kills the virus, this is not always the case. Sometimes it can adapt so that a certain it may survive in the body while the other versions of it are killed by the medications. This is what makes Aids so hard to treat. It is constantly adapting, and the medications given are often useless due to this adaptability. This new vaccine could strengthen the immune system though instead of actually killing the virus. The immune system of the body also sometimes begins to kill healthy cells, which is what the research focused on. HIV infects white blood cell, and the more white blood cells infected, the less the immune system is able to combat the virus. Aids is the most severe and final stage of HIV.
I believe this article was published because it was such a major breakthrough in the fight against Aids and HIV. The vaccine drastically helping the immune system is what many infected people needed to hear. This may be important to you or not, but this breakthrough in the fight against it saved a lot of lies and means that people with the virus may rest and sleep easier at night knowing that there are people trying to help them and that the new medication could save them.
