No more miracle cures?

It is apparent that stem cell research is very controversial. A judge ruled on Monday that the research can't be allowed to be continued. For pro life supporters this is an extremely incredible victory. For those who live with a life threatening disease will scream to the high heavens "*@#!% you, you son of a %$&@*! You're wasting more money on political bashes than my ^#&$*@$# leukemia! You are all so selfish for an image."
The purpose for the stem cell research was to use stem cells from embryos to create new flesh. Patients that have suffered stroke can grow new nerve tissue to replace the old ones. The stem cell itself is like clay, it can be molded into any shape you could desire if you do it right.
It isn't a very controversial issue if you look at it as objectively as you can as a scientist and doctor. Their jobs are to find ways to save lives. While the church says that the research is the work of the devil! Muahahahahhahahhahahhah! If a woman chooses to have an abortion because of the recent economy and wants to put the embryo to good use then let her. The woman is old enough to know what she wants. No one has the right to tell her not to have an abortion. If that's what she chooses then let that be, simple as that. There is no issue in 'recycling' material from somewhere else. There isn't someone as simple minded as to have a baby for the purpose for a reward of giving stem cells to researchers.
The moral issue: Killing a baby for the sole purpose of giving away stem cells.
No one would want to go through the ordeal of using their body constantly giving birth to a dead baby. And a little part of them dies when it happens. Doctors and researchers don't reward a bounty for a continuous 'donor.' A part of them dies knowing that that would be the only way for them to receive stem cells. Though organ donors are not very common either so in some cases hospitals buy black market organs.
The health issue: Because of what humans are polluting into the air and into our water and food, diseases pop up more and more often than in the past. We slowly screwing ourselves for eternity by advancing this quickly. People are extremely overweight, babies are overweight, puberty is starting at the age of 7 instead of 10, and diseases are more and much more common within certain families. The mistake in the past was the ignorance of some people who believed that they must marry within their bloodline to remain 'holy.' We can always fix what had happened in the past now.
Yes we could, but should we? Some methods are plenty extreme because of greed. But nothing in this universe exists as only one, there is always another. If there is a cure, there is an illness. The people for pro life knows this, and opposes an all purpose cure. The argument may be because of the greed of some people. The stem cells can renew life making someone immortal. But that is far beyond what we are currently capable of.
