The information out there said that in order to build bigger muscle you have to lift heavier weights. The new study at McMaster University shows that you don’t need to lift heavier weight to gain muscle, but lift until you can’t lift anymore with lighter weights. This is the point of reaching muscle fatigue. The key point of growing muscle is to stimulate your muscle to build more muscle mass. In a range of heavy weight 90% of the weight that a person can lift reach fatigue within a few reps, but 30% of that weight will take a lot more to reach.
This show the importance of cells within our body, it lead to the idea of having more than one way to approach growth within the body. In fact this study may have some mind changing fact to fighting cancer theory.
So then this article is to show people with weaker skeletal muscle mass or the elders to use lighter weight yet still gaining muscle mass. Same to surgery or cancer patient to regain their mobilization. This fact is practically changing the athletics facts about fitness.
