Think About Your Kids

As we all know already, smoking is bad for you. Smoking not only give you bad breath but also yellow teeth, cancer, and even premature aging. What you might also need to know is that it'll also affect you future baby. Scientist at the Southwest Foundation discovered that smoking also change gene expression. Gene Expression is how the gene tell what the body and cells will work and look like. This change in gene expression is very harmful to the body and you immune system. This is also how cancer might develop. Scientist also found 323 genes that is directly related to people who is smoking. Scientist found these in the genes inside of white blood cells. Their researches show that this does not only affect those genes but also the "entire network of gene interaction."

This is related to science because scientists can now prove that smoking is truly bad for the body. They can find gene mutations and changes in gene expression in the body because of smoking.

This is important because smoking does not only affect you, but the others around you. People that you smoke around can also be affected. They are actually more likely to get cancer. Smoking can change your whole life and the life of your child.
