Oil Spill In China

Other than America, china is also facing oil spill. the spill was caused by a pipeline explosion and fire. the people are banned from the beaches and island resort near the major port of Dalian and from Bangchui island and city beaches. more than 25 tons of oil-eating bacteria and dozens of oil-skimming vessels are being used to clean up the oil. residents and soldiers of china are involved with the clean up effort, one firefighter was killed after being pushed into the ocean by big waves and drowned. workers in Dalian are using barriers to prevent the slick from spreading, but are concerned, wind and heavy rain could worsen the situation.

This article is relate to the biology concept because the oil spill affects the environment. the environment is really important and should be protected becuase its where a million species live, so if the emvironment is affected it going to affect all the animals living there.

we should care about this information because we have alot of imports that are from china. so if china imports something to our country that has something worng with it becuae of the oil spill its going to affect the people in U.S.
