the mahjong gene

Scientist found out that the mahjong gene is a key player when cancer,
normal cells compete. These group of scientist are the first to
identify a life- and- death cell competition. This gene is named after
the chinese game of skilled and luck because it determines the winner
of the competition between 2 protein players. mahjong binds to a tumor
surppressor and interacts with it. The bond influences the outcome of
a cell competition because its a mutation. This transforms a normal cell
into a cancerous cell.

This discovery gives a better understanding of genetics. These
mutations can help therapies to reuduce the chances of newborns
aquiring mutations.
