In Contact With the Devil

Trendy Circle Contacts that give the illusion of wider eyes are becoming a fad among teen girls. Inspired by Anime and Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" music video, girl's would risk going blind just to attain that exaggerated look. Though not approved by the FDA, you can buy some online easily for $2o. These Circle Contacts pose a threat of extinguishing your eyesight in less than 24 hours. As with regular contacts, prolonged wear can lead to infections and if it doesn't match your eye shape it could scratch your cornea, causing vision problems.

Our eyes have much ado about biology. They are our gateway to the world and these Circle Contacts aren't the first, or the last, fad that puts us on the dance floor with the devil. Corsets, cigarettes, drugs- you name it and it's killed us. The insane obsessions that drive some over the cliff are curiously what many aspire for. Is it natural selection that possesses some to dispose of themselves?

It's vital that we don't fall in the same pitfalls every time a fad comes. Silly Bandz may not kill you but let's be weary of the anatomy altering corsets or the 6" McQueen heels. Cornea scratching iris infecting Circle Contacts are something to watch out for. Whether you want to play it safe with glasses or prescription contacts or join the dark side with Circle Contacts is all up to you, but it's only right that the threats of Circle Contacts be brought to light. Being different has it's price.
