A scientist named Thomas Wang is observing the layers that’s involved in the development of cancer and found out that the concentration of resveratrol, which is a bioactive compound found in plant foods and grapes, can ease risk of cancer. Thomas Wang began this thought by testing human cells, animals with sex-hormone-dependent tumor cells, and cell’s gene expression using resveratrol and noticed the inhibited growth of those cells. During this process, he allow the animal to drink resveratrol or an equal amount of 5 glasses of grape wine/juice, and noticed slower rate of cancer cell developing. As for the long term process, he noticed the increase in blood vessels forming around the tumors of the animals.
