Where's My Teeth?!

Based on a study about fluoride, it is suggested that the amount of fluoride that is available at the time of birth increases the chance on having healthy teeth. This appeared in an article written by Matthew Neidell. He studied the relationship between the fluoride level in one's county at the time of birth with the tooth loss as an adult. With this study, he included the data from a health study done by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It records the impact of drink fluoride water in the 1900's. For kids who have not yet grown their adult teeth, fluoride will still help them. It will help build the tooth enamel. Lots of people agree on the addition of fluoride in the community water and that includes the American Dental Association.

This relates to the science concepts because it has to do with our help. This is not our physical health, but it has to do with our oral health. Many don't worry about our oral health, but it is as important as our overall health. This relates to biology because of the diseases that our mouth can attain. Such diseases like gingivitis, tooth decay, etc. Without fluoride, our teeth can get sensitive or get cavities. The cavities can get infectious and travel to other places in the human body.

Everyone should care about their oral hygiene and health. It can really make a person sick. From the paragraph above, it describes the dangers that one can face in their mouth. The cavities and infect the other parts of the body, including the heart. The heart will have some problems and everything will go wrong. People in the present day are taking care of in now, because now, throughout the world, there are dentist offices. The dentists will help save your teeth and help save you from something that could eventually be disastrous.
