Faking It: Why Wearing Designer Knockoffs May Have Hidden Psychological Costs

Scientist, did a study on fake items, and saw how it affects people reaction, and honest. You buy fake, you become fake. They tested women, giving them pricey Chloe sunglasses, telling some it was real but others it was fake. Scientist tested these women to see how they would act. These women were given a math test, and timed. The women scored themselves and every answer the got right the received money. Not knowing the scientist were monitoring them, 70% of the women who thought they were wearing knockoffs lied about their answer, and 30% of the women with real glasses lied.Scientist also tested them on honesty. They give these women questions about people they know, in the survey women with the so called knockoff glasses believe the people they knew were phonies. Scientist realized that when people wear fake things, they judged other people as dishonest and fake, like themselves.
These scientist believe, the reaction of these women was mental. Their brain was telling them because what they're wearing is fake, they should act fake. The world affects your emotions and help determines the way we should act.The counterfeit rate is increasing and that's causing trouble in our economy today. Its prevent people for making an honest living and not ripping people off.
The latest Douche and Cabana bag just came out but..... it's $1000, money we can spend to pay rent or buy groceries for half a year, soo we buy the fake one. Most people want to fit into the high class society without paying for it. We buy the counterfeit version and rock it like its real. Deep in our hearts we know, its fake and that changes our character. Most people buy fake things due to lack of money, but when you're wearing fake things, you become dishonest to yourself and others.
