As we all know, America loves fast food and fried foods, but can this start to interfere with our health besides weight gain? The chemicals found within the food being consumed by children might interfere with their puberty rate, or early childhood development. Although this is not a set in stone fact, scientist believes that obesity can be the one to blame. This is causing huge fear in the parents of these children because they not only have to deal with harassment for their children looking “different” but this study shows that it can also raise the percentage in the child developing life threatening illnesses. Even though this discovery is recognized through children, the same consequences can occur within adults as well, but for both age groups the one category that is common are that girls are the ones who are at risk for the life threatening disease, breast cancer as well as developing depression at some point in their lifetime.
Sadly, this is not the first time we are hearing of food being a hazard to humans’ health. For the past three years the puberty rate among females has raised dramatically. A very serious concern which still not much people seem to be worried about, but they should. This topic relates mainly to obesity, a situation that causes serious complications in ones’ lifetime, either now or later but either way you look at it, it is still going to come. Studies show that with health issues come mental ones. Thus, proving the fact that early puberty can lead to depression.
Early aged puberty is something that is completely preventable if monitored. By eating the right food groups as well as eating in moderation, it can lead to normal eating habits. Once obesity stops becoming such a common problem within this country, the alarming health rates will show signs of decreasing. In order to keep oneself healthy and prevent situations such as early puberty occurring just eat right, eat healthy, eat in moderation and you would see how your body would thank you for proper feedings.
