Autumn Asthma Attacks

School can be a hazardous place and you might not even know it. AOL News have stated that going back to school, where there are seasonal allergens, closed confined classrooms and exposure to germs by other classmates, can unintentionally worsen a student's asthma symptoms. As a result to this, there are two types of medications a person would need to help reduce their asthma symptoms: long-term control or quick relief/rescue. For those who have asthma and allergies, their allergies can inflame their lung airways and maybe cause an attack. In order to avoid infection, students should make sure they are vaccinated with the flu shot.

This relates to science concepts as people with asthma have issues that pertains to their lungs. The lungs are a vital organ for breathing and getting oxygen into the body.

According to the U.S. Department of Education, asthma is the number one cause of school absenteeism. It is important to be well educated in asthma because anyone can suddenly have asthma and they should have the right to know how to treat it and ways of preventing asthma.
