2010= Worst Global Warming Year

Global warming is an issue that is inevitable. Many people don't consider global warming as a big threat, but others do. Right now in the year 2010, global warming is getting really bad, and is affecting every part of the world right now. Weather stations all over the world are realizing that there is a similar pattern of heat wave temperatures, which ranges from 90 degrees and higher. Temperatures all over the place are increasing undeniably. Australia is experiencing its third hottest year. Most of the Arctic ice is melting, while sea levels are rising dramatically. Scientists are concerned that this year, may be the worst in the 30 year climate-records. Global warming is something to worry about. In Australia, more than 400 wildfires occurred in the state of Victoria, in which many people were killed. So that global warming is affecting every environment and has caused so much damage in the past, means that this year, some of those results can happen in the U.S.

An environmental issue like global warming, shouldn't be put aside. This article relates to the biology concept of global warming. Global warming is when there is an increase in the Earth's average atmosphere, which may cause climate changes that may result in an effect in the greenhouses. Global warming deals with a lot of indicators. These indictators are: humidity, sea level, glacier cover etc. Humidity is when there is moisture, or wetness in the air. Sea level is known to be viewed, in order to find the means of high and low tides. Glacier cover, is its own definition, which is how much glacier is covering the sea or ocean. Speaking of glacier cover, glaciers all over the Arctic are melting at an even faster rate because of the hot temperatures all over the world. Wildfires are fires that get uncontrollable if not stopped, and can destroy everything like vegetation, animals etc.

Now that we have the idea of what global warming is and what it may lead to, we should definitely at this point take a step to make it better. This article was put on the magazine because that way we can be informed about global warming, and to maybe teach us to maybe change our ways of using the environment, to protect it, and our Earth. We should care that global warming is going to become the worst in this year, 2010 because we don't want more wildfires to happen and kill people, plants, animals etc. We should also care because that way we can try to use maybe less greenhouses. As said before, greenhouses are technically the main cause of the global warming. Knowing that the Earth is warming up a lot, and glaciers are melting, means that there will be more water in the ocean and that means more higher sea levels. Higher sea levels may eventually lead to worst tsunamis, and worst hurricanes. Shall we recall, that we are in the hurricane season. If 2010, is said to be the worst global warming year, then we can definitely be sure that this decade will experience even worse global warming. So let's protect our Earth, and at least slow the rate of global warming.
